Universal Health Services Closes its $835M Acquisition of Virtual Behavioral Care Provider Talkspace

Universal Health Services (UHS) has closed its $835 million acquisition of virtual behavioral care provider Talkspace, the company announced Monday morning.

The debt-financed deal valued Talkspace at $5.25 per share and now position the company as a wholly owned subsidiary of the $17.4 billion acute and behavioral hospital operator.
