Universal Music Group and Sony Music Group File Infringement Lawsuit Against AI-Startup Suno

Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group have a new grievance with AI start-up Suno.

The two music companies on Friday filed a new, 45-page lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in the District of Massachusetts against the AI music-generation company, alleging Suno’s new model, backed by several other music companies, still infringe Sony Music and UMG’s copyrighted works.
