USC Aiken Will Receive $4.5 Million in a Dorm Construction Settlement

USC Aiken will receive a multimillion-dollar settlement after a lawsuit was settled related to construction issues with a dorm on campus.
The involved parties recently reached a $4.5 million settlement after USCA filed a lawsuit in 2016 in regard to alleged construction defects and negligent design and construction of the Pacer Commons student housing dormitory.
USCA filed the lawsuit against University Housing Services Inc., H.G. Reynolds Co. Inc., Southern Wall Systems Interiors Inc., McElroy Specialty Interiors Inc., Croft Hill Siding Inc., East Coast Painting Inc., and John Does 1 to 3.
