Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor Reaches Settlement
A settlement has been reached in a wrongful death lawsuit filed against Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor in Franklin after the death of Brentwood police officer Destin Legieza.
Legieza was killed in a head-on collision as he was driving back to the police station at the end of his shift the morning of June 18, 2020.
Ashley Kroese, of Thompson’s Station, crossed over the center line on Franklin Road, hitting Legieza head on. Her blood alcohol level at the time of the crash was 0.166, double the legal limit.
