$27M Antitrust and Copyright Lawsuit Against NFL Over Packers Songs Dismissed

A Wisconsin man, who claims ownership of original music compositions and lyrics for the songs Pack Attack and Go Pack Go, recently saw his $27 million antitrust and copyright lawsuit dismissed by a federal district judge in Wisconsin.

Calvin McMillan, a resident of Green Bay, Wis., says he is the author and copyright owner of several works that celebrate the Green Bay Packers and pro football. These songs were allegedly used in advertising, which also featured the Packers’ logo, to promote lottery tickets issued by the state.
