Disney to Pay $233M Settlement to Employees Who Claim the Entertainment Company Denied Them a Living Wage

A California judge approved a $233 million settlement between Walt Disney Company and 51,478 Disneyland employees who accused the company of denying them a living wage.
Orange County Superior Court Judge William Claster gave final approval, calling the settlement fair, reasonable, adequate, and consistent with public policy.
The big picture: Of the total settlement, about $179.6 million will be paid directly to the class members.
