Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Hallmark Over Unsolicited Texts

Hallmark Cards repeatedly sent telemarketing text messages to consumers, including those with numbers on the National Do-Not-Call Registry, despite being asked by them to stop, a new class action lawsuit alleges. 

Plaintiff James Williams claims Hallmark invaded his privacy by continuing to send him telemarketing text messages after he “repeatedly” attempted to opt out of receiving them. 

Williams received the telemarketing text messages from Hallmark despite registering his phone number on the National Do-Not-Call Registry in June 2022, the Hallmark class action states.
