Dean Chase Is Named the President and CEO of Plaintiff Support

Plaintiff Support Services (PSS), a provider of pre- (non-recourse) and post-settlement funding to plaintiffs and law firms awaiting resolution of their personal injury cases, announced today the appointment of legal industry veteran Dean Chase as president and chief executive officer, succeeding founder and distinguished trial lawyer industry pioneer, Joseph DiNardo, Esq.

Effective immediately, in his new role, Chase will oversee all business operations. Over the course of his three plus decade-career, Chase has built and sold numerous successful legal services-related companies, including a litigation funding company and a plaintiff-oriented pharmacy. He is also the founder of Trusted Legal Partners, an organization which encourages business owners/leaders to support the legal industry through various initiatives and also give back to local communities through the provision of such services.

Believed to be the oldest plaintiff funding company in the U.S., PSS was founded by DiNardo 30 years ago. DiNardo identified a need to support plaintiffs and as such, PSS was among the first businesses in the space. He and Chase have established a long-standing, trusted working relationship and mentorship, which made Chase the ideal candidate to assume this leadership role in PSS. DiNardo will remain with PSS as a board member and special advisor.

Under DiNardo’s leadership, the Company funded more than $2 billion for over 20,000 plaintiffs represented by more than 2,000 law firms. Under Chase’s direction, PSS will add additional services lines to its offerings and significantly expand the workforce to accommodate such growth.

“The opportunity to take the PSS helm from my friend and mentor, Joe, is a career highlight and personally a great honor. Part of the strategy for assuming leadership of the business was to further PSS’ success in the marketplace, which the market is demanding. To this end, we intend to significantly add to our strong, stellar team and enhance our service offerings to dramatically grow revenue and positively impact profit margins,” Chase said of his new endeavor.

DiNardo added: “I deemed Dean to be the perfect leader to assume the reins at PSS, and was fortunate to hand-choose him as my successor. Dean has a proven track record of success and ethics within the niche plaintiff services industry. His visions, strategies and goals for taking PSS to the next level will be well received as the industry is ripe to embrace a deeper offering of complementary services.”

In leading PSS, Chase is supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team that shares his commitment to providing crucial pre- and post-settlement lawsuit funding to plaintiffs involved in personal injury cases during some of the most frightening and financially challenging times for them as well as their representing law firms who need capital.
