Eight People Sentenced in a Federal Case Tied to a Fentanyl Trafficking Group in Wisconsin

Eight people have been sentenced in a federal case tied to a fentanyl trafficking group that investigators say moved hundreds of thousands of pills in the Green Bay and Milwaukee areas and was linked to the seizure of more than 175,000 fentanyl pills.

Federal prosecutors said the group called itself “GTR,” short for “Getting to Riches.” According to court records, members repeatedly traveled to Phoenix, Arizona, bought large quantities of fentanyl pills and shipped them to cities across the Midwest before selling them in and around Green Bay.
