Federal Appeals Court Rules Nevada’s Top Federal Prosecutor, Sigal Chattah, Was Unlawfully Appointed to Her Position
Nevada’s top federal prosecutor was unlawfully appointed to her position, an appeals court ruled on Monday.
The San Francisco-based U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower court’s ruling that Sigal Chattah’s appointment was illegal. The Trump administration can appeal the ruling by taking the case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
