Federal Appeals Court Upholds Contempt of Congress Conviction of Peter Navarro

A federal appeals court on Tuesday upheld the contempt of Congress conviction against Peter Navarro, finding the White House advisor could not prove that President Trump claimed executive privilege in order to block testimony to the House Jan. 6 committee.
Navarro already has served a four-month prison sentence for his contempt of Congress conviction, but has returned to court seeking to overturn the ruling.
