Grand Theft Auto’s Parent Company Files a Copyright Claim Against ‘It Takes Two’

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Grand Theft Auto, claimed that It Takes Two, developed by Hazelight Studio, infringed the trademark’s naming rights. According to the documentation Take-Two Interactive requests that Hazelight rename the game.

EurogamerA Hazelight spokesperson said he could not comment on the ongoing disagreements between the studios, but hopes the situation is resolved. Take-Two also announced that it will also claim trademark infringement on games that contain the words “Rockstar”, Social Club, Mafia, and Civilization. All of these words are used by Take-Two’s owned product, such as Rockstar Games, Rockstar Social Club, and the Mafia series. or links to services.
