Kroger has agreed to pay $17 million to settle a class action lawsuit that alleged customers were overcharged for certain generic prescriptions.
The lawsuit covers purchases dating back to December 2018 through July 2026. According to the settlement, Kroger offered discounted prices on generic medications through its prescription savings program, but those prices were only available for members who paid for a savings club membership.
