California Department of Motor Vehicles Employee Sues State Over Alleged Sexual Harassment by Supervisor

An employee at the California Department of Motor Vehicles is suing the state agency after she says her supervisor sexually harassed her. The reported pattern of sexual harassment started last August at the DMV’s Sacramento headquarters, according to the lawsuit filed Monday in Sacramento Superior Court, which alleges the supervisor asked sexual questions and invited his subordinate to a hotel in exchange for a promotion. The supervisor is also accused of asking the female employee for sexual favors.
