LSU Fraternity Member Charged with Felony After Hazing Incident

A Louisiana State fraternity member was charged with a felony after a hazing incident put a pledge into intensive care with alcohol poisoning.

Phi Kappa Psi member Terry Pat Reynolds II, 21, was charged with one count of felony hazing, 12 counts of misdemeanor hazing, and one count of failure to seek assistance after forcing pledges to drink to excess, including one who is currently on life support, according to the university police department. Felony hazing carries a sentence of up to five years.

According to police, a new member of the fraternity was dropped off at Baton Rouge General Medical Center by a group of other fraternity members on Oct. 19.
