‘Mobile Legends’ Publisher Investigates Discrimination Claims
The publisher of Mobile Legends said on Tuesday (29 March) it was investigating claims that players from a Singapore esports team made allegedly discriminatory remarks against their opponents.
The incident, which took place in the first week of the third season of MPL SG (Mobile Legends Professional League Singapore), saw Team OP members being caught on Malaysian Geek Fam player Nik “Dominus” Aqieff’s stream making the remarks as they played a ranked match against each other.
Geek Fam compete in the MPL MY, Malaysia’s professional Mobile Legends league.
