Natera to Pay $8.25M to Settle a Class Action Alleging the Misrepresentation of Reliability of Noninvasive Prenatal Screening Tests

Natera has agreed to an $8.25 million class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims that it misrepresented the reliability of its noninvasive prenatal screening tests.
The Natera settlement benefits consumers who paid out of pocket for Natera noninvasive prenatal screening tests under the names Panorama or Vasistera between Feb. 17, 2016, and Aug. 7, 2025, in Ohio; May 5, 2016, and Aug. 7, 2025, in New Jersey; Feb. 24, 2017, and Aug. 7, 2025, in Florida; April 27, 2017, and Aug. 7, 2025, in New York and Illinois; or Feb. 17, 2018, and Aug. 7, 2025, in all other states.
