SS&C Advent Sues Advent AI for Trademark Infringement and Unfair Competition

Financial technology company SS&C Advent (SSNC.O), has sued software company Advent AI in ​California federal court for allegedly violating its ‌trademark rights in the “Advent” name.

SS&C Advent said in the complaint filed on Monday, that Advent AI’s name is ​likely to confuse consumers, accusing the company ​of trademark infringement and unfair competition.
