Woman Sues Buffalo Bills Over Alleged Injury During Celebration in Snowy Stadium

A woman in the north end zone at Highmark Stadium during the Bills’ Jan. 15 game is suing the team after she says the snow — and a touchdown celebration — left her with injuries.

Court papers filed Friday in New York State Supreme Court do not provide specifics of the woman’s injuries.

According to the lawsuit, the woman was standing in the second row of the middle section of the stadium’s north end zone when the Bills scored a fourth quarter touchdown. Fans went wild, but court papers say the woman fell forward into the seats in front of her because of “high-packed” snow and players jumping into the stands.
