Man Pleads Guilty and Sentenced to Prison for Death of His Then-Girlfriend in 1980s Cold Case

A man was sentenced to 20 years in prison in Oregon for the death of his then-girlfriend in a 1980s cold case that was recently reopened, authorities said Tuesday.

Marcus Sanfratello, 73, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the death of Teresa Peroni and was sentenced to 20 years in prison with a minimum of 10 years served, the Oregon Attorney General’s office said in a statement.
