A Missouri Man Is Sentenced to Life in Prison For Stabbing His Roommates to Death

A St. Louis County man convicted last month for stabbing and beating his two roommates to death in 2016 over an argument about rent has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

John Hamm, 48, was sentenced Friday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. That followed a jury conviction on Feb. 4 of two counts each of first-degree murder and armed criminal action, and one count of auto theft.

Hamm confessed to killing Robert Hall, 46, and Shannon Larock, 41, on July 12, 2016, at a home they shared, police said.
