A Texas County Signs a $20 Million Settlement For Hurricane Harvey Damages

County commissioners have signed off on a mediated settlement of $20 million in the dispute with Lloyds of London. 

Following Hurricane Harvey, the insurance provider refused to give Nueces County any more than $1.5 million to cover damages from the storm.

Now, Lloyds of London has 21 days to pay out the settlement.
