An Illinois Woman Is Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison for a Deadly Police Chase

A Springfield woman has been sentenced to three years in prison for a crash that killed a man and injured his young son as she was fleeing police officers following a traffic violation.
Ladeja Passion Frazier, 24, was sentenced last week by a Sangamon County judge after pleading guilty to several charges in the March 2020 crash.
Prosecutors said Frazier was fleeing from Sangamon County sheriff’s deputies following a traffic violation when she crashed into a vehicle at 80 mph (129 kilometers per hours) in Springfield.
