A Wrongful Termination Lawsuit Filed by a Former Spokesperson for the Iowa Public Health Department Can Move Forward

A former spokesperson for the Iowa Public Health Department can move forward with a lawsuit against the state. But Gov. Kim Reynolds is no longer named.

The Iowa Supreme Court reversed a lower court decision ruling Friday that Reynolds and her former communications director Pat Garrett are dismissed from a wrongful termination lawsuit.

Polly Carver-Kimm, a former spokesperson for the Iowa Department of Public Health, sued the state, Reynolds and Garrett.
