CaptureRx Failure to Protect Data in Breach Results in a $4.75 Million Settlement

CaptureRx has agreed to a $4.75 million settlement to resolve class action lawsuit claims it failed to protect consumer data during a 2021 data breach.

The settlement benefits a nationwide Class of consumers who were notified by CaptureRx that they were affected by the February 2021 data breach. The settlement also includes a California Subclass of the same consumers who were California residents when the company notified them about the data breach.

CaptureRx is a third-party pharmacy management system that helps manage inventory, facilitate transitions, and other functions.
