Connecticut Supreme Court Upholds a $38 Million Verdict in Malpractice Case Against UConn Health

The state Supreme Court Tuesday ruled in favor of a Bristol couple who won a multi-million-dollar court judgment against Farmington-based UConn Health over a botched artificial insemination procedure.

The situation resulted in the death of one female baby in utero in 2015 and a surviving male twin being born permanently disabled.

According to the Hartford Courant, the state’s High Court upheld the $37.6 million verdict handed down against UConn Health back in 2021.
