Delta Pilot Files Lawsuit Against Elevator Company After Airport Moving Walkway ‘Swallowed’ His Foot

A Delta Air Lines pilot is suing an elevator company after an incident at Denver International Airport, where he claims his foot was “swallowed” by a faulty moving walkway.

Surveillance video shows the moment the pilot falls to the ground, and he claims the fall did some serious damage — all within seconds. Photos provided by the pilot’s attorneys show his sock was torn and ripped and his shoe crushed and nearly unrecognizable because of what happened.

The incident happened on Nov. 4, 2022, but video is just now surfacing because a lawsuit has been filed.
