Georgia Man Wins $5.6 Million Post-Verdict Settlement for 2018 Crash

Morgan & Morgan attorneys Evan Rosenberg, Keith Mitnik, John Morgan, Riley Snider and Edward Hardrick obtained a $5.6 million post-verdict settlement Monday for a 40-year-old Georgia man. The settlement came after a Clayton County jury had awarded the plaintiff a $3,750,000 verdict on Friday for injuries he suffered in a 2018 car crash. State Farm, the defendant driver’s insurance company, did not offer to settle the case until after the jury found the defendant liable and delivered the multi-million-dollar verdict.

On November 4, 2018, the plaintiff was driving south on Interstate 75 through Clayton County when the defendant driver rear-ended him, causing a disc herniation in his neck for which he had a cervical disc replacement surgery.
