United Airlines Sued After Child Allegedly Burned by a Hot Meal During a Flight
A new lawsuit seeks damages from United Airlines after a hot meal slid off a tray table and burned a 6-year-old child during a flight.
The incident, which took place during a 12-hour United Airlines flight from Israel to New Jersey, allegedly caused burn injuries to the child.
Plaintiffs Michal and Ben Fefferman’s lawsuit claims the meal was served too hot and that the tray table was defective and not flat. The lawsuit goes on to say the United flight attendant who put the hot meal in front of plaintiff the Feffermans’ 6-year-old daughter did not have proper first aid or training to assist with burn injuries.
